PCSUMEA is founded in 1967 and it has played vital role for development of its stakeholders. PCSUMEA is one of the pioneer Association in Pakistan and registered with FPCCI, TDAP and affiliated with the Ministry of Commerce. Its main objects are appended below

INTRODUCTION
Wazirabad City
HISTORY
General Koi-Noos along with other soldiers of Great Alexander was appointed on River Chenab. After the war of Hydaspes Alexander the Great conquered some areas on joint place of two rivers i.e. River Chenab and River Ravi and conquered area was included in State of Porus. Raja Porus was the companion of Alexander the Great on above mentioned place. When Alexander the Great crossed the Wazirabad the Englishman made/constructed the bridge in his honor. The bridge was Sikandaria Bridge. This bridge historically present till today. Meanwhile those people technically trained these local people of manufacturing knives, swords etc. After that Wazirabad becomes a brand name about manufacturing Cutlery and Kitchen ware Industry. Wazirabad City is situated in the North of Lahore in the Center of the triangle cities of Gujranwala, Sialkot and Gujrat. There is high concentration of Small-Scale Metal/Light Engineering Industrial Units. These are mainly concentrated at its suburb areas. The Cutlery Sector is an important one in the country. The industry structure reflects that it is purely SME in nature. The major of this industry is situated in the locality of Wazirabad, Nizamabad and Allahabad in Gujranwala District. There are approximately 1500 units’ presents in this region and about 35 percent of them are registered with the Pakistan Cutlery Stainless Utensils Manufacturers & Desert Spoon Import: Stainless Steels Magnet / Non Magnet and Dencified Wood.

PROFILE
PCSUMEA comprised of Table Ware Cutlery, Hunting Knives, Swords, Axes, Daggers and Stainless-steel Utensils all over the County and affiliated by the Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce & Industry Karachi. This Association is registered with the Ministry of Commerce Govt. of Pakistan Islamabad. The member firms not only fulfill the domestic needs of the cutlery related products but also exporting these products worldwide.
PCSUMEA has currently 550 Registered Members including Corporate class and Associate Class on board. Every year our members have been increased. PCSUMEA Wazirabad has fulfilled the Cutlery requirements of 22 Crore population of a country and also exports to other countries with the worth of 143 million US dollars in 2020-2021.Wazirabad city is also known as City of Cutlery
PCSUMEA is Semi Government Trade body approved by the DGTO License No.20 (Ministry of Commerce) affiliated with FPCCI Karachi. The different departments such as Ministry of Commerce, TDAP, Ministry of Industry and production, SMEDA, TUSDEC, Ministry of science and technology, PSIC,EDF,EDB etc are attached with the Association. We hold Seminars with the help of TDAP for awareness about export documentation. We give information about international exhibition and arrange participation of members in these exhibitions for the promotion of export of Cutlery Products. Association has also sent many delegations abroad to Africa and Middle East for the exploration of new markets for exports of Cutlery Products.. We are cooperation with ministry of science and Technology also to develop a Pakistan Cutlery Cluster at Wazirabad industry in Wazirabad as per cluster development program of ministry. We have also arranged many Seminars with the UNIDO (United Nation Industrial Development Organization) official for the promotion of our Industry. Many small units actively working now on small clusters for collective purchase and sale and export. We are holding Seminars and technical training workshops with technical institutions like SMEDA, TUSDEC, NAVTTC, Engineering Development Board, NAVTTC etc to upgrade technical capability of our members.
We are also providing awareness and practical help for taking advantages of the incentives announced by the Government of Pakistan for small and Medium Enterprises (SME’s). The Association is also helping its member and tax revenue officials of the Government enhance tax revenue without unduly troubling our members. The office bearers of the Association have always Participated in all advisory meetings arranged by the Government such as Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Science and Technology, FPCCI and other departments. The Ministry was provided with very valuable input for budget proposal and Trade Policy every year. Many time our proposal were accepted by the relevant Government departments for the promotion of Pakistan Cutlery Cluster Industry.
